HELLO AGAIN

Illamasqua Make Up Haul!

Illamasqua, make up, haul, hollow pigment, pale skin, delirium, cream pigment, justify, vulgar, eyeshadow, my pale skin, em ford

Although I own a few products from Illamasqua, I can't say that I've ever truly dived in and experienced the brand, or it's full range. I've previously bought a few base products from them, such as foundation & concealer but that's about as far as my foray has taken me.
I love a good sale, and when I heard that Illamasqua had started theirs, I jumped straight in and started adding products to my basket.

I've heard so many things about using the Cream Pigment - Hollow that I just had to have it. For some reason I thought Delirium may work as sort of an edgy contour, but seeing it in person, I'm not so convinced... at least it was on sale... right?
Whilst in a Contour mood, I started browsing the Eyeshadow range for alternative options and picked up Heroine and Justify. It was then that I noticed the Vulgar eyeshadow, and although it may seem a weird choice, I'm seriously into the way Sssamanthaaa blends her eyeshadow out using an orange shade, and when I noticed this was on sale, it didn't stand a chance - the poor little thing. It went straight into the basket.

So that's everything I picked up! I'd love to hear your thoughts. Have you tried any of them before? Let me know your thoughts!

  1. Delirium looks gorgeous, even though you probably can't use it to contour. Can't wait to see how you use it!

  2. You picked up so many gorgeous things, and Hollow looks like the perfect contour shade, especially for us with fairer skin!

  3. I bought Delirium in the sale too! I love it so, sooo much - I use it as a contour, but I got lighthanded. I think it makes a really nice shadow on the face which can also be blended up to give a hint of colour to the cheeks! You just have to be careful to not build it up too heavily or it can look like a bruise...

I might try Hollow next time though seeing as I've not tried that one yet. Did you get yours sorted in the end? I kept seeing on Instagram all of your dodgey looking ones!

  4. Again another brand that I have never tried any products from. Delirium looks like an absolutely beautiful colour, however my eye was instantly drawn to the eyeshadows that you picked up.

  5. Lovely choices! Glad they managed to sort out the hollow pigment in the end. I was sent an eye palate from them which was nice but I'm not very good with makeup on my eyes!!

  6. I'm curious to see how you'd wear the orange eyeshadow! It's a tricky shade, but it would be beautiful in certain looks :)
