On Saturday I headed to Dirty Martini Bar in Covent Garden, London to attend a Summer Blogger meet up which had been organised by the lovely Clare from The Love Of All Things Beauty. I often forget how lucky I am that living in Central London means I can get to Covent Garden in around 10 minutes or so - especially on a busy Saturday in the summer holidays. The plan for the day was some relaxing cocktails, (or non alcoholic cocktails for me) followed by an afternoon of beauty shopping!
Clare had arranged for everyone who was attending to each make up a goody bag to the value of £10 for us to swap with each other in a random draw.
I picked out number 3 which had been made by the beautiful Sarah from And Beauty Or Something and funnily enough she randomly drew the goody bag I had created. Here's what I had in my wonderful goody bag!
I couldn't have been happier with the products Sarah had chosen. I received the Make Up Revolution Blush & Contour Palette as well as the Salvation What You Waiting For? Palette. I'd been eyeing up the blush palette for a while and I'm so excited to play with these shades, so check back soon for my full review and looks created using them.
After the goody bags and chatter it was on to the shopping. We had a full day planned, and the first stop was MAC.
I did it. I caved and I finally joined the '90s Kylie Jenner Lipstick club. I picked up the Beautiful Velvet Teddy Lipstick and Whirl Lip Liner from Mac. I'm not sure if these shades will suit me yet as they're such warm tones. I usually steer clear of anything that can make my teeth appear yellow as I find warm tones tend to do so, and until I get my teeth whitened, I'm not sure my confidence will hold up to it. But we'll give it a shot, and if my lipstick looks good, I can go without talking or opening my mouth the whole time I wear it... right?
From Space NK I picked up the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly which was on my August Beauty Wishlist and I can't wait to put this to the pale test and see how it compares to the the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer i've been using as of late.
We also headed to the amazing Marc Jacobs Pop up Tweet Boutique in Covent Garden where you can use tweets as currency and pick up a sample of the the famous Daisy Perfume!
The beautiful Zoe from Zoe London was on the decks and in store to meet and greet bloggers and shoppers alike, and even though I didn't get a chance to say Hi to her, I made sure to get into stealth mode and snap a picture.
I loved that the Daisy Sample even comes in a mini Daisy bottle. This is a fragrance I've drifted in and out of wearing over the past few years and needless to say It'll be my go to perfume for the next few weeks.
I had an amazing day and got to hang out and spend time with some lovely bloggers, new and old friends alike. I love blogger meet ups and the chance to go shopping with some like minded ladies was badly needed. I'm looking forward to using some of these amazing new products and I'll be sharing my new looks and thoughts with you soon!
I'd love to hear your thoughts on what your top pick from this haul is. Let me know in the comments.

How adorable is that little Daisy sample! I love it when perfume samples actually come in little miniature versions of the full size bottle, or at least come in a prettier bottle than those standard little spray tubes you get. Or even worse the ones where you have to use your finger to apply it x
