On Tuesday I headed over to Penthouse in Leicester square as I had been invited to the Bloggers Love, Material girl Event!
I'd heard about these fabulous events on twitter and promptly signed myself up to the site in anticipation of the next. I didn't have to wait too long and with a click of my heels, it was a 55 and 38 bus hop away to get to there from working in Shoreditch.

The independent jewellery designers in attendance showcasing their work at the event were:

  • Faye Marie Jewellery
  • Frida and Freya
  • Gemz by Emz
  • Jedeco
  • Kasun London
  • Love Thy Accessories
  • Ros Millar

As there were so many jewelers and beautiful collections, i'm going to showcase my 3 favourite designers from the event and show you a couple of pieces that really caught my eye. I try my best to make these posts too image heavy, so here's hoping!

Faye Marie Jewellery

What I loved about this collection is how striking all the pieces are. You can transform a simple outfit into a stylish and classy look with some of these beautiful statement pieces.

I really loved this statement necklace called 'The Swarm of The Fireflies' It's beautiful, edgy and would look amazing with a killer black dress.

My favourite ring from the Firefly collection.

Kasun London

I think I fell in love with this collection instantly. The God Loves Fangs collection was right up my street. it was simple, punchy and elegant at the same time.

This Vampire Heart Pendant necklace was beautiful. I  was trying my hardest to not buy it on the spot. I adore how you can take the dagger out of the heart and let it dangle. I just love everything about this. Needless to say it has been added to my wish list.

The other piece from The God Loves Fangs collection that really caught my eye is the Vampire Bite Ring. I would wear this in an instant and an totally incorporate it into my everyday jewellery. Stunning, edgy and beautiful all rolled into one.

Ros Millar

Ros Millar creates organically inspired jewellery. I spent ages chatting with her about her various pieces. I found out her workshop is based a stones throw away from where I live in London, so we spent a while chatting about our love for the area.

I love how unusual all her pieces are. This Charcoal Meteor Shower ring would make a wonerful alternative engagement ring, whilst these stackable rings from The Meteor Collection are so on trend!

The Challenge!

As well as some fabulous jewellery on show, there was also a style challenge where you can sign yourself up to be matched with a designer to accessorize a look, the chosen winner then takes home a prize!

I teamed up with the wonderful Faye from Faye Marie Jewellery and her's the look we came up with!

I'm wearing the beautiful 'The Swarm of The Fireflies' necklace & 'The Double Firefly Ring'

We teamed the necklace and ring up with these gorgeous Firefly loop earrings.

I really enjoyed my time at the event,. I met some lovely fellow bloggers, and had also had my nails painted by the  very Lovely Natalie.

I am very much looking forward to attending Bloggers Fashion Week towards the end of March, and will definitely be keeping some time in my diary free for future Bloggers Love Events.
