Here's a Valentines Day look that's suitable for a casual date or a night in at home (like i'm planning). Boyfriend and I tend not to really go out on Valentines as everywhere is incredibly busy. The thing about living in London Zone 1 is that all the restaurants and pubs are filled with people spilling out of the office and going for drinks, when you add the romantic holiday into it, it's a nightmare. I think we're probably going to have a quiet evening in with a takeaway and play some Borderlands 2 on the PS3. It may not be exciting to some, but it's perfect for us. I tried my best to get him to open his presents this morning before we left for work, but he wasn't having any of it. Sigh. I hope he likes what I picked out for him :)
This look is all about a slick wing, soft natural shadows, rosy cheeks and a pink lip. Don't forget the tousled hair for that effortless look. It's the perfect combination for getting a little bit of glam into a not too heavily made up look.
A pop of white in the corner of the eyes really gives the natural shadows a bit of depth without it being too much and heavy.
What are you wearing for Valentines Day? What are your plans? Whatever they are, I hope you have a lovely evening. xx
I'm so glad I came across your blog from reddit!! What are you wearing on your lips?
