I popped to Superdrug on my lunch break yesterday and ended up coming out with 2 Lipsticks, 2 Lip Lacquers and 1 Lipgloss! As far as hauls go, this has to be down there with the best value for money, as this lot came to the grand total of £9.00!

Each product is slightly different in colour, texture & formula and I'm really looking forward to trying them out!

I picked up The MUA Luxe Lip Lacquers in Atomic & Criminal for £3 each. I also thought I'd try out a  £1 lip gloss tube in Let's Meet and of course, a lipstick haul is not complete without a matte so I picked up Pouty Pink & Totally Nude also at £1 each!

I've not a clue what to expect with any of these products, but with all of them at £3 and under... I feel like i'm onto a winner. I'm looking forward to trying them out and seeing what looks I can create with them.

Have you tried any  of these products? I'd love to hear your thoughts on them! Let me know in the comments.

Ashley Benson Make up MUA undress me too

Ashley Benson always looks incredible on the Red Carpet, and she's the inspiration behind my latest Celebrity Styled look. The shining star of this look has to be the MUA Undress Me Too Palette which costs only £4.00!!  The Undress Me Too Palette is a Perfect dupe for Urban Decay's Naked 2, and almost a 10th of the price.

The colours are incredibly pigmented, and It's hard to believe how many shades you get for so little money. If you don't have this palette, go get one! I'm a fan of MUA and after testing this palette out, I will certainly be buying more from the range.

Want to get this look? Here's the full product list of what I used -

  • Primer - Benefit Porefessional
  • Foundation - Mac Prep & Prime BB Beauty Balm Extra Light / Mac Studio Fix NC15
  • Concealer - Mac Studio Finish NC15
  • Powder - B. Cosmetics Pressed Powder Light/Medium
  • Contour - NYX Taupe
  • Blush - ELF Blushing Rose
  • Eyebrows - Sleek Eyebrow Palette Light / Urban Decay Naked Basics
  • Eyes - MUA Undress Me Too Palette
  • Eyeliner - Eeyko Skinny Eye Liner
  • Mascara - Bourjois Paris Volume Clubbing, Ultra Black
  • Eyelashes - Perfect Eyelashes by Agnes Dos Santos, 'Glam'

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this look, and i'm always open to ideas for which look to recreate next. As always, if you'd like a tutorial for this, let me know in the comments. xx

Hey there! I'm back with another £5 and under review! Today I'm going to be talking about MUA Make Up Academy Eye Shadow Trio in 'Pink Sorbet'

Now unfortunately I dived straight in and started playing with the product before I had a chance to take a photo of it clean. Sometimes I just can't help myself and I was way way too excited to try this product after hearing so much about it.

Here are the all important details.

First things first, let's swatch them.

My first impression off the back of the swatch was 'whaaaaaaaat?' I honestly did not expect the colours to be so pigmented. I mean like, this is an eye shadow trio that costs £2.50! The swatches were just one swipe each. I would usually expect to may ££ for an eyeshadow that looks this good straight out of the pan. Great expectations for this straight away.

Let's see how they look!

Holy crap. These shadows are good. I think I'm in love. The powders themselves are quite hard, they're not creamy or soft shadows, but even still I can't believe how easy they are the apply, how strong the colours are, and how shimmery and lovely they look. The pinks go perfectly with my skin tone, and the the shades all blend in well together. They're a perfect mix of soft, shimmer and fresh romantic pinks.

The only downside is the foam applicator is crap. Really crap, so I recommend using an eyeshadow brush and a nice big fluffy brush for blending. I think these are a fantastic buy for £2.50 and I'm going to be hunting for another 1 or 2 as a backup for my drawers in case I ever run out.
